Consistent with the Independent Living philosophy of
“nothing about us, without us”
the intent of the conversation is to hear directly from
people with disabilities about their needs.
Family members, service providers, community organizations, faith community leaders, employers, civic leaders and other concerned community members are welcome to join us to provide support or assist with the event logistics. However, please understand that
the voices of people with disabilities will be
the focus of the community conversation.
So, if you’re a person with a disability, please join us in the conversation. If you’re not a person with a disability, but want to be involved, please lend us your support at the event and/or by sharing the invitation within your circles of the disability community.
